That means you pay a monthly membership fee that covers comprehensive root-cause care — not just symptom management. And it means I have the time to actually figure out what's wrong.
How This Works
You join as a member. Monthly membership. Pediatric (0-17), Adult (18-64), or Senior (65+). No insurance accepted. Cancel anytime with 30 days' notice.
You get comprehensive functional medicine care. Longer appointment times. Thorough workups. Root-cause investigation. Treatment plans that go deeper than "here's a prescription, see you in six months."
You schedule visits as needed. Your membership covers office visits throughout the year. First visit is 60-90 minutes. Follow-ups are 30-60 minutes depending on complexity. You're not paying per visit — your membership covers it.
We communicate through secure messaging (Spruce Health). Quick questions, medication refills, lab result clarifications — handled through our HIPAA-compliant messaging platform. You're not texting my personal phone, but you have a direct line to the clinic.
You're a patient, not a claim. I don't bill insurance. I don't have to get pre-authorization to order the labs you need or prescribe the treatment that makes sense. I work for you, not an insurance company.
What Makes This Different
Longer appointments. Actual time to think. First visit: 60-90 minutes. Not 10 minutes while I'm already thinking about the next patient. I take a full history, review everything you've tried, explain my clinical reasoning, and build a plan together.
Follow-ups: 30-60 minutes depending on what we're addressing. Complex cases get the time they need.
Root-cause medicine, not symptom whack-a-mole. If you have chronic fatigue, I don't just hand you a prescription for Adderall and call it done. We figure out why you're exhausted. Thyroid? Insulin resistance? Chronic viral reactivation? Gut dysfunction? Mitochondrial issues? We find it and fix it.
Comprehensive testing that goes beyond the basics. I'm not limited to what insurance "approves." If you need an expanded thyroid panel, insulin testing, food sensitivity panels, gut testing, hormone workups — we order it. You know the cost upfront. No surprise bills.
Access to specialized functional medicine treatments. BHRT pellets. Low-dose naltrexone (LDN). Ivermectin for chronic viral reactivation. IV therapy. GLP-1 medications when appropriate. Carnivore and ketogenic diet protocols. This is not standard primary care — this is functional medicine.

What's Included in Your Membership
Office Visits Schedule as needed throughout the year. First visit: 60-90 minutes. Follow-ups: 30-60 minutes. Your membership covers the visit — no separate copay or visit fee.
Comprehensive Root-Cause Workups We don't just treat symptoms. We investigate. Full metabolic panels, expanded thyroid testing, hormone workups, gut health assessment, inflammatory markers — whatever is clinically indicated to find the actual cause.
Functional Medicine Treatment Plans Dietary protocols (carnivore, keto, elimination diets). Targeted supplementation. Prescription medications when needed. BHRT, LDN, ivermectin, GLP-1s — we use what works.
Secure Messaging via Spruce Health Quick questions, medication refills, lab result clarifications — handled through our HIPAA-compliant messaging platform. Not instant, but responsive.
Coordination of Specialty Care If you need a cardiologist, endocrinologist, gastroenterologist, or any other specialist, we provide referrals and coordinate your care.
Chronic Disease Management Diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disease, autoimmune conditions, chronic fatigue, gut disorders, hormonal imbalances — ongoing management is part of your membership.
Preventive Care Annual physicals, health optimization, preventive screenings, lifestyle medicine — all included.
What's NOT Included (But We Help You Access Affordably)
Labs & Testing We order comprehensive lab work (often more thorough than insurance would cover). You pay the lab directly. We use affordable direct labs to keep costs low. Typical range: $50-600 depending on the panel.
Members get discounted lab pricing — we don't mark up.
Prescriptions Prescriptions are separate (just like with insurance). We prescribe generics when possible to keep costs down. Use GoodRx or similar discount programs.
Specialty Procedures & Therapies
BHRT pellets: Females $100 per insertion (every ~3 months), Males $150 per insertion (every ~4-6 months)
IV therapy: Discounted member pricing, typically $140/session
Advanced functional medicine testing: GI-MAP, food sensitivity panels, SIBO breath tests, etc. — typically $200-600, ordered as needed
Specialists & Hospital Care If you need a specialist or hospitalization, you'll need insurance or self-pay. We provide referrals and coordinate, but we don't cover that directly.

How to Get Started
Step 1: Book Your First Visit Schedule a 60-90 minute consultation. We'll review your health history, discuss your goals, and determine if we're a good fit.

If you're not sure yet: Pay for a one-time consultation ($150) to see if we're the right fit
Step 2: Choose Your Membership If we're a good fit, you'll sign up for the monthly membership for your age group. Payment is auto-pay via credit card or HSA card. Cancel anytime with 30 days' notice.
Step 3: Start the Work Once you're a member, we order labs, build your treatment plan, and start addressing root causes. Schedule follow-ups as needed. Communicate via Spruce for questions between visits.

Q: Can I use my HSA or FSA to pay for the membership? Yes. Membership fees qualify as medical expenses.
Q: Do you accept insurance? No. We don't bill insurance. This allows us to spend more time with you and order the testing/treatment you actually need without insurance company interference.

Q: Do you treat kids? Yes. Pediatric membership (0-17) is $185/month. We treat PANS/PANDAS, ADHD, gut issues, metabolic health, chronic illness in kids.
Q: Can I switch from another clinic to you? Yes. We can coordinate transfer of records and take over care.
